Bereavement prayers can be a meaningful part of the funeral service. This is a time when we our looking for spiritual solace and strength for our hearts.

This can be a helpful resource for the grieving person, their loved ones, or someone like a pastor, chaplain, funeral director.
Prayers for Those Who Grieve by Jill Kelly & Brody Wheeler; might be helpful to read at home as you personally walk through your own journey of grief.
Above are just of few of the prayers for grief that I have come across so far. I am sure there are many more out there and as I find them I hope to add them to this site.
You can also write your own. You do not have to use fancy words, let it just be talking to God about the one you just lost. Yours could be the most personal tribute that you could offer.
